Weather & Climate:

Getting Around Town: Walk or buy a tram token from the front desk. For day trips use the central train station. (beware of street crime - watch your purse and aggressive muggers, espcially in the high tourist areas!)

Restaurants We Like:
- Volle Gas (excellent) - Belgian - walking distance
- Mumtaz - Indian - long walk
- Mongolian Barbecue Restaurant (we're looking for the name!) - walking distance - past the church on the left.
- Lebanese - cross Av. Louise, head toward the church, approx. 4 blocks down on the right is The Bank (bar), go left and go half block down on the right
Tipping:
- Service is typically included; a gratuity of 5%-10% (round up) is appreciated.

Shopping:
- Famous for Chocolate and Lace and Tapestries. Unbelievable beer (beware of high alcohol content!) Good crew duty free at the airport. Many small independantly owned shops in Brussels.

What to See:

Visit the Mannikin Pis statue Grand Platz is full of shops and restaurants. Long walk or take tram from Avenue Louise.
Sablon neighborhood is fun to walk around Street antique market on the weekend

Travel Time to the Hotel: 20 min.
Flight Time: 7 hours (+ or -)
Nearest ATM : On Avenue Louise there is a "Fortis" atm. Walking distance.
Nearest Grocery: Food Lion(accepts credit cards), about 10 min. walk from hotel. Small grocery on the corner, down the street to the right.
Closest Gym: Newly added gym in the hotel.
Best Place to Run:
Good Walks: To the Platz, anywhere around the hotel neighorhood, especially Avenue Louise
Easy Day Trips: Bruge, Antwerp
