transportation is part of the RMV transportation
system.
-The U-bahn (the Metro) - trams on 7 lines serving
the center of the city - keep the final station
or the color in mind to navigate the stations.
-The S-bahn - more extensive suburban rail network
- serves the airport and the surrounding towns.
Night buses take over after 0130.
Tickets are dispensed from the RMV machines; use
coins or notes; only issue tickets for immediate
use. Instructions in multiple languages. |

Shopping
Finds: Frankfurt is known for its Apple Wine. Check
out the Apple Wine fests. (more on this later) "Stephano",
near the Kaufhoff has upscale clothes at reasonable
price (ala Banana Republic). Rieslings -world famous
wines from this region.
