| Getting
Around Town: There is a shuttle bus from the hotel
into Narita - runs every 30 min. Narita is very small
and walking around town is easy. |
| Restaurants
We Like:
The layover is short and there are limited choices.
- Hotel has a crew cafeteria on the first floor,
open until 9 p.m. You gotta love the beer vending machine! (After flying KWI forever, a beer vending machine seems really exotic!)
-"The Pink Telephone" / the noodle shop
- The hotel has a nice cocktail lounge on one of
the top floors - crew discount - lovely view.
- There is an assortment of bars in the town of
Narita, frequented by crews from many different
airlines.

| Shopping
Finds: Crafts. Asian food items. Pearls. (nothing
is inexpensive - it's not like the old days -- sorry).
There is a large new mall, Aeon Mall (has a huge 100¥
store), 10 minute ride from hotel. Hotel gives a bus
pass to the mall to flight crew. It's also walkable.

Hotel
Ammenities:
Hot pot, wireless (get cord from front
desk), tv with vhs player - videos available to borrow
from crew room. Computer room. Robes, slippers. Refrigerator. Vending machine area. Hotel has new mattresses which are a little better than the former concrete ones they called mattresses. Our favorite thing is the coin operated foot massage machine in the health club. |
